windows error code

INET E RESOURCE NOT FOUND is a Windows 10 error that may occur when using a web browser on Microsoft Edge. The error prevents users from entering a specific website they have previously been able to access. It’s not a simple error of connectivity, though. The source of the error is one of Microsoft’s cumulative updates.

After the release of Creators Update, Windows 10 users began reporting this problem on Microsoft forums. [1] Cumulative update KB4022725 [2] (OS Build 15063.413 and 15063.414) appears to have had a bug that broke Microsoft Edge. This problem has not yet been fixed by Microsoft engineers, however, and users still have these connectivity problems.

After this update has been installed, the browsing sessions of Microsoft Edge users are disturbed by an error message saying:

While some pages may work, due to this error, the other may not respond at all. When trying to download / install apps from the Windows Store, the same error code may appear in addition to Edge. The error message in this case contains the references to INET E RESOURCE NOT FOUND and Error Code 0x80072EE7.

The IT community has found several methods that could help fix the error of INET E RESOURCE NOT FOUND and normally continue to browse the web with Edge. However, with upcoming Windows 10 updates, there is still hope that Microsoft will patch this problem.
