No water detected in the tub for 6 minutes after starting the dishwasher |
Open the dishwasher’s cut-off valve for water supply. If the valve is already open, unplug the dishwasher and shut down the water supply, then disconnect the fill line and examine the valve for the water inlet. If the inlet screen is blocked, replace the water valve-not just clean the screen, as debris could enter the body of the valve, causing the valve to remain open and flood. Check the water inlet valve’s wiring connections and secure any loose connections. If activated, the water valve will not open, replace it. See the repair guide to fix it yourself |

Water entering the dishwasher is more than 176 degrees |
Check the hot water temperature in the kitchen rod. If the temperature exceeds 120 degrees, reduce the water heater setting. The thermistor (temperature sensor) is defective if the water temperature is below 176 degrees. Replace the heat exchanger. Replace the main power board assembly (PBA) if the problem persists. See the repair guide to fix it yourself |

Thermistor (temperature sensor) error |
Unplug the dishwasher and connect any loose wires to the wire harness of the thermistor. If the wire harness is damaged, replace it. If the wire harness is correct, the thermistor should be replaced. Replace the main power board assembly (PBA) if the problem persists. See the repair guide to fix it yourself |

Not draining or not draining fast enough |
Clear the sink drain clogs. Unplug the dishwasher and clear the hose and drain pump from the dishwasher. If it damages the drain hose or the drain pump, replace it. See the repair guide to fix it yourself |

Water overflow detected |
To disconnect electricity, unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker. If the tub is still filled with water, replace the water inlet. If the filling stops when the power is switched off, replace the main power board (PBA). See the repair guide to fix it yourself |

Water leak detected |
Check the dishwasher for a leak of water. Check the tubes, drain the pump and the tub. Replace any components that leak. See the repair guide to fix it yourself |

Heating element failure |
Unplug the dishwasher and check the heater’s cable connections. If the heater is damaged, replace it. If the heater is correct, replace the main mounting board (PBA). See the repair guide to fix it yourself |

The thermistor (temperature sensor) detects 176 degree water or above in the tub |
To disconnect electricity, unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker. Open the dishwasher door carefully and check the water temperature in the tub. The heater relay on the main power board assembly (PBA) is likely to be stuck in the closed position if the water is close to 176 degrees; replace the main PBA. The thermistor (temperature sensor) is likely to be defective if the water is less than 176. Replace the heat exchanger. If the problem persists, the main PBA is replaced. Low water level |
Empty any flipping and filling dishes and restart the cycle. If it is not level, adjust the leveling feet on the dishwasher. Unplug the dishwasher and connect to the water level sensor any loose wires on the wire harness. If the wire harness is damaged, replace it. If the connections to the wire harness are correct, replace the water level sensor. |

Half-load component failure |
The device controls the water flow of the spray-arm in the half-load mode. Unplug the dishwasher and connect any loose wires to the switch position of the diverter motor and the diverter. If the wire harness is damaged, replace it. If the wires are correct, replace the diverter assembly, including the diverter motor, the position switch and the diverter plate. In some models, the entire sump and motor assembly must be replaced because diverter compounds are not available as separate parts. |
